what is sidsom?
SIDSOM is a non-accredited Bible institute endorsed by the Executive Presbytery of the General Council of the Assemblies of God for ministerial training. Courses completed through the Southern Idaho School of Ministry (SIDSOM) meet the educational requirments of the General Council for the respective level of credential.

How much does a class cost?
Each class is $90, plus the class textbook, which can be typically found for $20 - $40. There is also a one time $20 fee to join the SIDSOM program.

How long are the classes?
Each class takes place on the second Saturday of the month, and is roughly four hours long. Lunch is provided.

Do I need a computer to take classes?
While it is not required, you will need an electronic device to upload your study guide, and take the test at the end of the class.

Do I have to take SIDSOM classes to be credentialed?
No, SIDSOM is not the only way to meet the educational requirements to become credentialed with the AG. Please contact us to see if your transcripts are eligible.

How much homework is there?
Each class has a textbook to read, and a study guide to fill out based on the text. The average study guide is 50 questions.

Where are the classes held?
Certified classes have two meeting places. At the Network Office in Nampa, and Full Life Family Church In Twin Falls. Choose the one closest to you! Licensed classes are held exclusively at the Network Office.
