The Southern Idaho Women's Ministry (a.k.a Thrive Ministries) provides opportunities for women to connect with one another, grow in their relationship with God, and discover their God-given purpose! We are building an environment for women to encourage and support one another, learn and express practical biblical love, and feel God's love in a very real way.
Meet the Director & Team Thrive
LeAnn Sullivan has been the Thrive Ministries Director for the past 10 years. LeAnn has been married to her husband Kent for 42 years and they have been in ministry for over 39 years. Kent has been serving as the Southern Idaho District Youth Director and Ministries Director since 2004.
They have two grown children, BreAnna and Josiah. LeAnn and Kent have 5 grandchildren who they adore!
On Team Thrive, we have (from left to right in the picture): Naomi Vines, Ruthie Carlson, LeAnn Sullivan, Karen Reeder, Megan Wright, Starlene Clig, and Kris Johnson (Rebekah Metteer in the center was our Connect Speaker). Each of these ladies have a heart for souls and a desire to serve each of you! I am so grateful to have a group of women who are Armor-Bearers, genuine friends, and who live life to the fullest!
Thrive Ministries Theme:
it is Christ in us that makes us enough.
Genesis chapter 1 tells us He created man in His own image and He called his creation GOOD.
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them."
"And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good."
May you walk in the assurance that you were made enough by a God who loves you and calls you GOOD!
Thrive Connect is our annual retreat for the women in our Southern Idaho Ministry Network. Women come together to connect with God, each other, and meet new girlfriends!
Our next Thrive Connect is scheduled for Oct. 11 - 13, 2024 at Trinity Pines in Cascade, ID.
Thrive missions is the annual fund raising project of the Southern Idaho Women's Ministry. We have just one mission, and that is to partner with organizations, ministries, and missionaries both locally and globally, so that together we can reach more people for Jesus. There are many ways you can help. You can join us in prayer, give to the project, or serve!
Once again, Thrive Missions is supporting WorldServe “This Girl project and our local Teen Challenge Ministries! Our goal is to raise a total of $15,000 this year. Individuals and Churches can send in your funds raised directly to the Network Office or bring your Thrive Missions funds to Thrive Connect in October!
1. Around the world, girls lack the ability and support to manage their menstrual cycles with dignity. WorldServe International is working to change this for women and girls in three ways:
a. Equipping girls with a year’s supply of biodegradable sanitary pads and quality undergarments.
b. Educating girls about their bodies through health curriculum presented with compassion and grace.
c. Employing women to earn a fair wage by working to sustainably produce sanitary pads for their local communities.
2. Provide Water Wells for villages in Tanzania through WoldServe, providing clean drinking water.
3. Provide funds for our local Teen Challenge Ministries.
